Indium tin oxide (ITO) conductive film is coated on the surface of ordinary glass to form indium tin oxide glass commonly used in LCD, usually called ITO glass.ITO conductive glass is based on calcium sodium or borosilicate substrates, using magnetron sputtering method to electroplate a layer of indium tin oxide (commonly known as ITO) film.When processing ITO conductive glass for LCD, before electroplating ITO layer, it is necessary to electroplate 20-30 nm thick silicon dioxide as a barrier layer, whose main function is to prevent metal ions from diffusing into ITO layer in calcium and sodium substrate, which will affect the conductivity of ITO layer.In order to obtain more uniform display control, the substrate glass needs to be polished before sputtering ITO layer.
