Due to the ongoing corona pandemic, the MSK Covertech Group is canceling its participation in Glasstec, which will take place in Düsseldorf in October 2020, and is planning alternative product launches.
"It was not an easy decision for us," emphasizes Uwe Jonkmanns, Director of Sales and Marketing, MSK Verpackungs-Systeme GmbH. The preparations for the exhibition already started and we really would like to have presented our new products at Glasstec 2020.
From today's point of view, however, it can be assumed that travel activities and major events of the size of a leading world trade fair will not yet be possible in October and cannot be perceived by visitors in the usual way. Out of respect for the health of our customers and employees, as well as for reasons of planning security, we have therefore decided not to be present at Glasstec 2020 and to cancel our registration."
Linda Hannen, CEO, MSK Verpackungs-Systeme GmbH, says: “We are already working on alternatives how to present our new products virtually, digitally or personally to our customers. 2020 focuses on the digital MSK product range.
The launch of the EMSY smart app for mobile status monitoring of MSK systems via smart phone, as well as a service pad to optimize technical maintenance, repair and spare parts supply is planned for this year."
In 2021, MSK will be represented at Interpack in February and at Logimat in March. The latest generation of the MSK shrink frame will be presented at Interpack 2021.
