Quartz Glass Tubing
Raesch offers a selection of clear quartz glass tubing for various applications, in a wide range of diameters from 5mm to 240mm. The 13-50mm range is popular for lighting, sun-tanning and water treatment applications, whereas the 70-240mm range is intended for the semiconductor industry. Wall thickness ranges from 0.5 to 5mm. Various combinations of diameter and wall thickness can be drawn to suit the needs of the customer. Quartz rods are also available.
Translucent quartz tubing is also produced in a variety of sizes. It is very useful in casting processes, and therefore of particular interest to the automobile industry.
Fabricated Components
With long years of experience in quartz fabrication, Raesch has the equipment and technical know-how to design, manufacture and supply quartz glass components of all shapes and sizes, using its own quartz tubing as well as quartz tubing from other sources. It produces a large variety of components for the lighting industry, including single-ended bulbs for discharge lamps, and double-ended bulbs for HMI, HBO, XBO, and UHP lamps. It also produces bulbs for sun-tanning lamps, low pressure mercury vapour lamps for UV water purification (now with a new long-life coating), and various sleeves.
Raesch quartz and fabricated components made by Raesch are found in lamps made by leading lamp manufacturers that light stages, stadiums, airports, and major public spaces the world over. They are also found in some of the largest and most advanced water purification systems installed so far.
